TM Brings Christo's Art to Bogotá!

Has famed wrapping artist Christo made a secret visit to Bogotá? No. Rather, along the Transmilenio construction corridors, the city has covered sculptures with burlap to protect them from possible damage.

If and when the lines are completed, perhaps we'll see the sculptures once again.

These ghostly figures near the Jorge Tadeo University are really ghostly figures under the wraps.

As long as I can remember, this pedestal has been vacant.

Abstract sculptures outside the Museum of Modern Art.

The Modern Art Museum's sculptures in normal times.

This canvas covers a botero sculpture of  a fat man on a fat horse, in front of the Parque del Renacimiento.

Here's the sculpture unwrapped.

Near the Catastro building, at Calle 26 and Carrera 30.

These statues are near the Hotel Tequendama. See the child sculpture's little feet sticking out?
